Vicky joined the NHS as a Social Marketing Apprentice as part of the family and health lifestyles team whilst undertaking an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration.  Vicky said “ I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do as a career so I was really just hoping that being in a working environment would give me a better idea. It’s a good way to get an idea of the type job you want – you never really know whether it’s for you or not unless you try”.  In reflecting upon her apprenticeship Vicky said “don’t be afraid to ask for help – if you don’t understand something just ask a question it’s a lot better asking so you fully understand than not knowing and getting yourself worked up. Be confident in your decisions.” Once Vicky completed her programme she secured a permanent role within the NHS and is looking forwards to undertaking higher qualification in digital marketing and social media.  Intermediate Apprentice in Business Administration- NHS
