Day three of the #NHS100Challenge – Non-Clinical apprenticeship day

Posted on 6th March 2019

There’s roadshows, highlights of non-clinical apprenticeships and much more!

Talent Academy stakeholders are going to be at the L&D Centre, Unit 3, The Reservation, Sleaford talking to staff about apprenticeships.

These roadshows are drop-in sessions welcome for all NHS Lincolnshire staff to attend.

Whether you’re looking for existing staff development or recruiting new staff, the apprenticeship programme has so much to offer. Lincolnshire NHS staff are free to attend any of our Talent Academy roadshows.

Did You Know?

There have been famous apprentices?

  • Did you know that David Beckham completed a football apprenticeship?
  • Jamie Oliver completed an apprenticeship in catering.
  • Gordon Ramsey completed an apprenticeship in Hotel Management.
  • John Frieda completed one in Hairdressing.

The NHS has non-clinical apprentices as well – from Business Administration to IT – there’s plenty to choose from.

We have been able to reach out to a number of our non-clinical apprentices – you can find their case studies here:

Dean – who is a Mechanical Craftsman for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Jasmine – who is a Finance Apprentice for Lincolnshire Community Health Services

Tom – who is an Administration Apprentice for Lincolnshire Community Health Services

Grace – who is a Business Support Assistant for Lincolnshire Community Health Services

Let’s share and celebrate apprenticeships!

We have asked NHS Lincolnshire apprentices to share their experiences being an apprentice using the hashtag #NHS100Challenge on social media!
