Lincolnshire Health and Care Careers Event 2019 – Review

Posted on 10th December 2019

The 26th November saw the 3rd annual Lincolnshire Health and Care Careers Event take place at the University of Lincoln Engine shed and it was bigger than ever!

Once again, this event offered a fantastic opportunity for the general public and students from schools and higher education providers to explore, first hand, the varied care options within the Health and Care Sector. Exhibition stands were manned by clinical and non-clinical professionals showcasing their careers, sharing their knowledge and passion for their career.

The footfall was high with around 800+ visitors attending from varied towns across Lincolnshire, some attending as far away from Mansfield and Skegness!

Workshops within Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health and Social care were available to students who had pre-booked, providing them with a unique opportunity to attend clinical simulation suites and really get stuck in whilst undertaking interactive activities.

Visitors and staff manning the exhibition stands kindly completed evaluation forms and based on the fantastic feedback received, it is likely the Talent Academy will be arranging the 4th Lincolnshire Health and Care Careers event for next 2020!

The Talent Academy would like everyone involved and all those who attended that helped the event run as smoothly as possible.

See you again in 2020!
