The Communications Team is an office based corporate service based in Sleaford, who oversee communication with staff, patients and local media.
Whilst on placement individuals will have an opportunity to contribute to local publications including weekly staff newsletter, website and intranet, patient leaflets and press briefings.
Duties may include:
•Writing engaging articles/press releases about a wide range of mental health and health care topics
•Accompanying members of the team to events and visits which may take place during the week, to take photographs or assist in the smooth organisation of events.
•Undertaking basic administration tasks such as filing, media monitoring, photocopying and mailing out of promotional materials.
•For those with a flair or interest in design, there may also be a chance to produce engaging patient leaflets and posters.
The role will require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages (e.g. word, powerpoint, publisher).
